Being admitted to the hospital can be stressful. We want you to be informed and to feel welcomed and comfortable while you’re with us.
To help you prepare for your stay at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, we’ve created a resource for patients so you know what to expect before, during and after your stay.

At GMH, we offer so much more than exceptional healthcare. We also provide patients and visitors with the comforts of home, the convenience you need and helpful, compassionate service.

Patients and visitors should park in the main hospital parking lot. A registration desk is located immediately through the main entrance sliding doors.

Visiting hours

Guttenberg Municipal Hospital believes having visitors and family present during hospitalization may help patients in their recovery. In addition, we recognize the rights of patients to have visitors while they are hospitalized. Visitors are typically welcome until 8 p.m., although some units may have more limited visiting policies that meet the need of their patients. “Family and Friends” may stay longer after seeking permission from the nursing unit. In addition, we observe a quiet time from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. each day.
