Must be able to perform laboratory analyses in an accurate, timely, courteous, and effective manner to support comprehensive patient care. The Med Tech demonstrates independent judgment and decision making skills in the performance of routine and complex procedures, evaluation of patient results, and problem solving within job responsibilities. Is responsible for collection and preparation of all specimen types. The MT/MLT performs, evaluates and records QC within the time frame specified for particular laboratory test, identifies problems and initiates problem solving and documents course of action. Varied shift including weekends and on call rotation.
P.A. or N.P. – Urgent Care / Clinic
Two years experience in an Urgent Care / Clinic preferred. This could be a full-time or part-time position. Responsibilities include implementing treatment modalities in collaboration with a Physician or as per protocol. Must have a valid Iowa license, DEA, CSA, ACLS and ATLS preferred. Must be a team player and be flexible.
RN- Patient Care Unit
Iowa License – Full time / 12 hour shifts with a defined Holiday and Weekend Rotation. Will work on EPIC electronic health record and will be assisted to gain professional credentialing necessary to work in Med/Surg, ED and Obstetrics over a structured orientation period. Our nursing team will welcome an experienced hospital RN but professional proctoring and mentoring are in place to support a novice nurse interested in exploring the diversity of rural hospital care.
The Physical Therapist at GMH must provide skilled physical therapy services to improve patient functions through the use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, activities and manual therapy. Bachelor / Masters Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy and Iowa License required. BLS Knowledge and Skills Clinical experience preferred. This is a full-time AND PRN position.
The Ambulance Drive for GMH is responsible for driving an emergency vehicle to transport ill, injured, or convalescent persons to and from the hospital. The driver assists EMT’s in lifting and transferring persons to and from stretcher. This position is on call rotation and requires a valid driver license. BLS certified preferred.
Respiratory Therapist- PRN
Responsibilities include respiratory care of inpatients and outpatients. Must hold BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Iowa license or able to acquire them. Experience in Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab preferred.
