Parents and grandparents, educators, and community members are invited to learn more about what kids are facing and doing online. Internet Safety Consultant Rick Floyd, a retired law enforcement official, with share his knowledge about the dangers of being online.
He guides adults to have more meaningful and proactive conversations about being online with the young people in their lives. Some of the topics included cyberbullying, sexting, online predators, and the potential impact of social media posts on a young person’s future school and job prospects. There is no charge for this presentation.
